How the Exam Works
Theory Component
A comprehensive written examination covering maritime law, navigation, and seamanship. You will be tested on your knowledge of the Collision Regulations and buoyage systems.
Oral Component
A practical interview with an examiner to assess your decision-making skills and ability to handle emergency situations at sea. This is a critical part of your professional assessment.
Practical Component
A hands-on assessment conducted on the water and radio simulator. You will demonstrate your ability to pilot a vessel safely, manage navigation, and respond to real-world maritime challenges.
